Musical Director and Rehearsal Pianist
20+ years of experience in leading every musical aspect of theatrical productions, from casting and assisting with show selection, through creating rehearsal materials for cast and production teams to work with, all the way through to conducting a huge variety of shows throughout the East Midlands, conducting both standalone and whilst playing a keys part. Some highlights include Chess, Hairspray, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sister Act, Little Shop Of Horrors, Fame, Beauty and The Beast, Our House, Legally Blonde, Spamalot, Copacabana and Crazy For You.
Arranging and Orchestrating
Gareth has arranged and orchestrated music in numerous styles, for all sizes of ensemble from small piano/vocal settings, through 5 part harmony arrangements up to full orchestrations for a 50 piece pop orchestra and choir. See below for some examples of his work.
Recording Engineer
Having run a successful commercial recording studio in Leicester for a number of years, Gareth has the tools and ample experience to produce vocal and instrumental tracks to a very high standard from his home studio in Loughborough. He has also done multiple recording sessions on location, both choral and instrumental, across all manner of styles from New Orleans Jazz, to Heavy Metal and Musical Theatre
